The bottom line The most transparent specification in this group, and the biggest capacity. Judge it on the space you have.
The TE-VC 2340 SACL publishes what almost nobody else does: 225 mbar of suction, alongside 1 500 W, a 40-litre drum and a nine-metre working radius.
A figure you can compare
Wet and dry vacuums are usually sold on wattage, which describes consumption rather than performance. Suction in millibars describes how hard the machine pulls; airflow in litres per second describes how much it moves. Einhell gives the first, Bosch’s professional machines give both, and most domestic listings give neither. Wherever a figure exists, that is the machine you can rank honestly.
Forty litres, nine metres
The combination says site rather than garage. Nine metres of radius covers a room from one socket; forty litres holds a genuine building mess or a serious volume of water. Both come with the same cost — the machine is large, and large machines only get used if they have somewhere to live.
Filter handling
A HEPA pleated element with a cleaning system: press the button, the pleats are knocked clear, suction returns without opening anything. Dust class remains L, so wood and general debris yes, plaster and concrete no.

Questions people actually ask
What does 225 mbar tell me?
It is the suction — how hard the machine can lift something out of a crevice or up a hose. It is not the same as airflow, which is what carries material along the hose once it is moving. Both matter, and most listings publish neither; Einhell publishing one of them is the reason this machine can be compared at all.
Is forty litres overkill at home?
For a garage, yes. Forty litres earns its space during building work, floods and workshop use where emptying the drum is the interruption. If your vacuum lives in a cupboard between jobs, a 20 to 25 litre machine is the better buy and takes half the room.
