Not power — independence. A petrol machine goes where there is no socket and runs for as long as there is fuel, and on a smallholding or a farm track that is the whole argument. Everything else about petrol is a cost: noise, exhaust gases that rule out enclosed spaces, oil changes and winterizing.
A 700 mm (27.6 in) push sweeper is a mechanical broom with a hopper, and on a hard yard it is several times faster than a brush and raises none of the dust a blower does. Match the brush stiffness to your surface, and adjust the brush height as they wear — a sweeper that has stopped collecting is usually just set too high.
Engine displacement, power and tank size are published. Flow rate on the washers often is not, and without liters per hour a pressure figure cannot tell you how long a surface will take. Where a figure is missing, the pages here say so.
