A stainless drum with a drain plug — the detail that matters the first time you pick up thirty litres of water.
The bottom line Buy it for the drain plug. Anyone who has carried a full drum knows why that is not a small feature.
The VQ1530SFDC is a 30-litre stainless machine at an entry price, with the feature that decides how much you dislike wet pick-up: a drain port.
Thirty litres of water weighs thirty kilos. A drain port empties it where it stands. Without one, wet work ends with a full drum that has to be carried and tipped, and that is why machines bought for floods often stop being used after the first flood.
Steel drum and steel tubes rather than plastic. It survives transport and cold storage, and it does not craze.
A bleed control on the handle lets you reduce suction for light material without going back to the machine — the same argument as a pressure dial on a washer.

Because thirty litres of water weighs thirty kilos, and the alternative to a drain plug is tipping a full drum over a gully without spilling it. On a machine bought largely for floods and leaks, it is the difference between a job and a wrestling match.
Reducing suction without turning the machine down. On light debris, upholstery or a curtain, full airflow pins the nozzle to the surface — a bleed valve at your hand lets you back off without walking anywhere.
