The Sellnet SN 121 is the strongest ash vacuum in this comparison: 1 650 W, roughly 20 litres of metal drum, and a two-stage filter.
A reusable bag filter takes the bulk of the ash before the HEPA element sees it. That order protects the fine filter, which on ash is the component that decides whether the machine keeps working after ten minutes. It is the same logic as the coarse filter on the Kärcher AD 4 Premium, and it is the arrangement to look for in this category.
Many products sold as ash vacuums are separators: they have no motor, and you connect your household vacuum to them. That arrangement puts your everyday machine one filter failure away from a drum of ash. This one has its own motor, sized for the job. The listings look alike, so it is worth confirming before ordering anything here.
About four metres. If the fireplace is on an outside wall with a socket beside it, that is fine; if the stove sits in the middle of a room, it is an extension lead every time. Reach is the specification people notice on the second use.

A whole class of cheap ash 'vacuums' are really pre-separators: a drum and a filter that you connect to your own household vacuum, which provides the suction. They work, and they put your household machine's motor one filter away from ash. A standalone unit like this one has its own motor built for the material — worth checking before buying anything in this category, because the listings look similar.
Up to a point. Ash is light, so the limit is usually the filter rather than the motor. Where power helps is pulling fine ash through a long hose and out of the corners of a firebox, and 1 650 W leaves margin as the filters load. Suction in millibars would tell you more, and this listing does not give one.
