The bottom line The sensible middle: buy it for the second blade, and take the extra runtime as a bonus.
The WV 2 Black Edition adds what the entry model lacks: a second, narrow suction blade, and 35 minutes of runtime instead of twenty.
Blade width decides which windows you can do
A wide blade is fast on a large pane and useless on a Georgian sash. The narrow blade turns small panes, glazing bars and framed shower screens from an awkward job into a normal one. If your glass is all large and modern, this feature is worth nothing; if it is not, it is the whole reason to spend more.
Runtime, in perspective
Each pane takes a few seconds of suction. Twenty minutes is a lot of panes. Thirty-five is more useful for the once-a-year session where every window in the house gets done — and less useful the rest of the time, when the machine sits charged in a cupboard.
The habit that matters more than either
Squeegee the shower screen after each use. Limescale forms on glass left wet, and no window vacuum removes it once it has etched in — but ten seconds a day prevents it entirely. That is what these machines are genuinely for.

Questions people actually ask
Do I need the narrow blade?
If your windows have glazing bars, small panes, or a shower screen with a frame close to the glass — yes, and it is the reason to choose this over the WV 1. A wide blade on a small pane cannot reach the corners, and the corners are where the water collects and runs.
Does more runtime mean a better machine?
Only in the sense that it removes an interruption. Window vacuums do seconds of work per pane; the battery is rarely the limit in a flat. Thirty-five minutes matters when doing a whole house in one session, which is exactly when you least want to stop and charge.
