The H12 Pro FlexReach is built around two numbers that have nothing to do with cleaning power: a 90 °C roller wash and a five-minute drying cycle.
Floor washers do not usually fail; they get abandoned. The reason is almost always the roller — damp, loaded with what came off the floor, sitting in a dock in a warm kitchen. Within a week the machine smells, and the owner starts washing the roller by hand, which is the chore it was bought to remove.
A hot wash cleans the roller, and a drying cycle finishes the job. Any floor washer you are considering should have both; without them, budget for a spare roller and a routine.
The 180° design lets the machine lie down and pass under a sofa or a bed frame — the places where floor dirt actually accumulates, and where an upright head stops at the edge. Because the machine's roller sits damp in a dock between uses, and a damp roller carrying floor dirt smells within days. A hot wash removes the dirt and a drying cycle removes the water; without the second one, you are hand-washing a roller after every session — which is exactly the chore the machine was bought to eliminate.
No, and no floor washer does. It picks up dry debris and liquid in the same pass on hard floors, which is its job. It is not a carpet machine, it does not do stairs, and fine dust is still a vacuum's work. Think of it as replacing the mop and bucket, not the vacuum cleaner.
