The Akitas X5 is the entry point to spray extraction with two tanks: a 400 W motor, a self-cleaning cycle, and a 30 ml sample of low-foam concentrate.
Clean solution one side, everything recovered from the fabric the other. A machine that mixes them is spreading dilute dirt, which is exactly what a cloth already does for free.
Thirty millilitres at 1:25 is a sample rather than a supply, but it is the right kind of product — low-foam and machine-safe. Foam in a recovery tank can reach the motor.
In drying time. Less recovery means a wetter sofa, and the answer is more dry passes rather than more solution. On a car seat, where foam under the cover holds water for days, do a lighter job than you think you need.

Because the wrong product foams in the recovery tank and can carry foam into the motor. A concentrate described as low-foam and machine-safe is the correct thing to put in a spray extraction machine — household carpet shampoo is not, and that is a repair rather than a mess.
Less recovery, which means the fabric comes up wetter and stays wet longer. The fix is technique rather than a different machine: two or three extra passes with the spray off pull out a surprising amount, and that is the step that decides whether a sofa smells on Thursday.
