The Deebot T30e Omni puts its engineering into two things: ZeroTangle 3.0 anti-tangle brushes and a straight air path feeding 25 000 Pa of suction.
Robot reviews rarely dwell on the weekly ritual of cutting hair off a roller with scissors. In a house with a shedding dog or long hair it is the reason robots get abandoned. Anti-tangle designs use combs and tapered geometry so hair travels to the ends of the roller and into the bin instead of wrapping around it.
A straight duct from brush to bin loses less suction than a folded one, which is why the same headline figure can mean different things between machines. It is the same principle as hose diameter on a workshop vacuum: the number at the motor is not the number at the floor.
No extending mop pad. The edge along a skirting will be cleaner than on a cheap robot and less clean than on the T50 in this comparison. Corners remain the category’s unsolved problem.

In a household with long hair or a shedding dog, it is the maintenance job that decides whether the robot stays in use. A tangled roller has to be cut free with scissors, weekly. Anti-tangle designs — combs, tapered brushes, or both — genuinely reduce that, and the specification is worth more than a suction figure to the households affected.
The T50 extends its mop into corners; this one concentrates on the brush and the airflow. If your floors are open and the household sheds hair, this is the better buy. If the complaint is dust along skirtings and around table legs, pay for the T50.
