The bottom line The most transparent petrol machine here — and still far more pressure than a house needs.
The HCP5000 does what almost no petrol listing does: it separates maximum pressure (241 bar) from working pressure (221 bar), alongside a 5.9 hp, 212 cc four-stroke engine and a 9.2 m hose.
Two figures, not one
A maximum pressure is measured with the trigger shut. Working pressure is what comes out of the nozzle while you clean. Every machine has both; most listings print only the flattering one. Publishing the pair is a small act of honesty that makes the machine comparable — and it puts this one well above domestic electric machines, which peak around 180 bar.
What that pressure is for, and what it destroys
Concrete, stone, steel plant, farm equipment. Not decking, not render, not paint, not mortar joints. At this level the correct technique is distance and the widest fan angle that works — the 0° nozzle in the box is a tool for concrete and drains, and holding it still for two seconds leaves a permanent line.
Petrol as a commitment
Fuel, oil, a filter, a plug, and something to do about winter. In exchange you get pressure and range with no cable at all. Never run it indoors or in a garage — the exhaust is carbon monoxide.

Questions people actually ask
Do I need this much pressure?
Almost certainly not, for a house. At 221 bar you are cleaning farm machinery, concrete yards and stonework. The same pressure on decking removes the surface, on render drives water into the wall, and on a car it removes paint. Petrol machines are bought for places without a socket, not for pressure you cannot use.
What maintenance does a petrol machine need?
An oil change on schedule, an air filter, a spark plug and either fuel stabiliser or an empty tank over winter. That is genuinely more work than an electric machine, and it is the reason a petrol washer sitting in a shed for a year usually will not start when you want it.
