Should I buy the widest surface cleaner or the adjustable one?
A surface cleaner is the first accessory worth buying for any pressure washer. These two are the opposite ends of how to build one.

Buy the T-Racer if any of your surfaces are softer than concrete. Adjustable jet height is the single control that protects timber and soft stone.
Only if the machine can drive it. The jets are turned by the water passing through them, so a 465 mm (18.3 in) head on a low-flow washer spins slowly and cleans worse than the lance it replaced. Width is a flow-rate decision.
Because the distance between a flat jet and the surface decides how much energy reaches it. Close in, the jets strip timber fibers and etch soft stone; a few millimeters higher, they clean without marking. A fixed head is set for one surface and used on all of them.
