Nilfisk’s PowerControl lets you set the pressure to the surface rather than to the machine’s maximum. That is the difference between a washer that is useful on a car, shutters and render, and one that is only safe pointed at concrete.
A soft setting and a hard one rather than a single compromise head. Between the dial and the nozzles there are four sensible combinations — more range than another twenty bar would buy.

The 140 publishes pressure, flow, area performance and power; this one publishes pressure. Both have the PowerControl dial, which is the feature that matters. If the price gap is small, buy the machine you can compare; if it is large, the dial is on both.
Damage to your own property. Render takes water behind it, softwood decking goes furry, window seals let water past, and old paint lifts — all at full pressure, on machines that had no other setting. Being able to turn it down is what makes one machine safe on a car and useful on concrete.
